Abdelhak Khiame has worked as a chief officer of the BCIJ in Morocco. He was the motivation of many young security officers in Morocco. After his death, he left many inspirational stories of his life for the people of Morocco.

He died due to the long health issues that he was facing before his death. Abdelhak became the new Chief of BCIJ in 2015. He served in BCIJ till 2020. He got succeeded by the former deputy of the BCIJ Mr. Habboub Cherkaoui.

In the years 2004 Abdelhak Khiame began to serve as Chief of the National Judicial Police Brigade (BNPJ). Before his appointment in 2004, BNPJ faced a deadly terrorist attack on May 16, 2003, in Casablanca. Serving for almost 10 years in BNPJ Abdelhak got promoted to the position of chief in BCIJ. Under his leadership, BCIJ got another name “Moroccos FBI”.

He developed a great intelligence team in BCIJ that supported many international partners to tackle terrorism. Under Abdelhak’s leadership, BCIJ helped Spain in arresting one terrorist suspect. Abdelhak got the reputation as one of the most recognizable and revered Moroccan security officials. He got these honors due to his involvement in dismantling 80 terrorist cells and arresting more than 1200 suspects that were having connections with ISIS and many other terrorist organizations.

He was having the experience to deal with and investigate cases related to corruption, terrorism, and financial Scandals. He will always be praised for his efforts to fight against terrorism and maintain his country’s security. He was very much active in media press conferences.

When he was active as a BCIJ chief he kept transparency in his works.In order to keep transparency, he use to share every update with the media during press conferences.Abdelhak was a true believer in Allah.He usually wears an English Suit whenever he appears on his duty.He use to wear spectacles as his eyesight got weak due to old age.Abdelhak was fond of wearing dark black color glasses.After leaving BCIJ in 2020 he started handling functions within the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
