Krishna took birth between the years 1956 – 1961. She was living in Kolkata, West Bengal, India with her husband. The birthplace of Krishna is not known, so we are assuming that she was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. 

She has joined a local school in Kolkata to pursue her basic education. She took admission to a private high school for her secondary studies. The proper education information of Krishna Roy is not disclosed yet.

Krishna has never revealed anything about her siblings. She followed the Hinduism religion. According to Quora, she belongs to the Kayastha caste. 

Krishna Roy is the wife of Mukul Roy. The two were living a happy life for the last 28-32 years. Krishna was very loyal to her husband and supported him in his political career. Mukul Roy was the minister of Railways of India. Being a politician, he is the minister of the All India Trinamool Congress party.

Mukul and Krishna were blessed with a son named Subhranshu Roy. He is also associated with Indian Politics as his father. He is a former member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the All India Trinamool Congress.

Krishna Roy was a supporter of TMC. She has always helped her husband during the elections. She showed faith in the decisions of her husband, Mukul Roy, to leave BJP and re-join the TMC party. Krishna gave Mukul a lot of support in his field.

Roy was living a prosperous and lavish life in Kolkata. Even after searching a lot, we are unable to find her proper income sources. However, her better half, Mukul Roy, is earning a huge amount from his career. The estimated net worth of Mukul Roy is at around INR 6-7 Crores approximately.

The wife of popular politician Mukul Roy died on July 06, 2021, in Chennai. As per the sources, she was hospitalized on May 11 because of a Coronavirus infection. Later, she was transferred to another hospital in Chennai for treatment. Besides this, according to the official reports, Krishna felt difficulty in breathing in the morning of July 06 and died due to cardiac arrest.

After the death, her dead body was brought to Kolkata for the last rituals. Many popular leaders and famous personalities show their grief through their respective social media account. Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Governor of West Bengal, tweeted that:- 

Heartfelt condolences on the passing away of the wife of Mukul Roy, Mrs. Krishna Roy. I pray to God to give eternal peace to the departed soul”

When Krishna Roy was hospitalized, then Abhishek Banerjee came to see her and met Mukul Roy and their son Subhranshu Roy. Abhishek is the nephew of Mamta Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Apart from this, Narendra Modi also called Mukul Roy to know about his wife in June 2021.
