Riniki blows candles on 30 July every year. She was born between the years 1970-1974 in Guwahati, Assam, India. She is 46-50 years old (as of 2020). 

She has completed her basic education at St Mary’s School Guwahati. She took admission to Cotton College, located in Guwahati, for her under-graduation. Further, she completed her studies of law and is also a member of the bar council.

She has very loving in-laws. The name of her father-in-law is Kailash Sharma and her mother-in-law is Mrinalini Devi. Riniki belongs to the Hindu religion. After searching a lot, we are unable to find her real caste.

Riniki Bhuyan was in a long relationship of ten years with Himanta Biswa Sarma. The two were dating each other since their college times and decided to get married. Riniki and Himanta married in June 2001 in Assam. 

Himanta Biswa Sarma was a member of Congress but now shifted to Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). He was also the Cabinet member of the Assam state. Himanta takes oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam in the elections 2021.

Riniki Bhuyan Sarma started her career in 2009 and launched Pride East Entertainments Private Limited. She has also inaugurated two news channels named News Live and News East Live. She is currently working on her notion of every piece of news must reach the people.

She also runs other three channels named Indradhanu, Ramdhenu, and Rang. She also owns one newspaper ‘Niyamiya Barta’. Apart from this, she is also concentrating on her Silk weaving project. She shows silk sarees at the national and international platform through ‘The Golden Threads of Assam’.

Riniki Bhuyan Sarma is earning a good amount of money. She would be earned INR 50-60k from the news channels and INR 40-45k from her saree weaving business. Her net worth, including all income sources and assets, is estimated at INR 8-9 Crores approximately. 

In 2015, Bhuyan Sarma was questioned for the Saradha scam which was a financial scam. She was asked about the money, she invested in her business. She was asked about the sources and receipts. There is no more information about that case, whether she found guilty or not. 

She helps people who are physically or mentally disabled. Riniki goes to Kailash Nath Sharma Trust and Jadhav Chandra Memorial trust to help specially-able people.She has also played tennis and represented Assam at the National level.
