Aruna Bhatia belongs to a Sikh Punjabi family. She was born to her parents in 1943 (age 78 years, as of 2021) in Punjab, India. Her father and mother love her a lot. She spends the majority of her childhood in Amritsar, Punjab.

Aruna went to the government school in Amritsar along with her brother and sister to complete her primary school education. Later, she attended Punjab University to finish her graduation. As per her personal life, Aruna Bhatia’s husband’s name is Hari Om Bhatia.

After completing her graduation from college. Her father started finding a suitable life partner for her. At last, Aruna Bhatia married her husband named Hari Om Bhatia. Her spouse Hari Om Bhatia was a Former Army officer. After few years serving in the Indian Army, he resigned from his position as Army officer and started working as UNICEF’s accountant.

Aruna gave birth to her first child, a son named “Rajiv Bhatia” on 9 September 1967. After entering into the Bollywood Film industry her son changed his name to “Akshay Kumar”. After the birth of her son Akshay Kumar, Bhatia’s family moved to Delhi, India. Her whole family use to live in her house located in Chandni Chowk.

After almost 3 years, she becomes the mother of a girl child in 1970. The name of her daughter is Alka Bhatia. Alka is working as a Film producer along with her brother Rajiv Bhatia (aka Raju).

 Aruna started her career as a movie producer from her first film “Singh Is Kinng” in 2008. Her debut movie is released on 8 August 2008. Her son Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are the lead actors in this film. Anees Bazmee is the director of Singh Is Kinng. Her son is a talented Bollywood Actor “Akshay Kumar”.
