Right at the end of season 1 – Rand and Moraine had gone off in search of the eye of the world and had their encounter with the dark one. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang fought against the dark one’s army alongside the forces of Faldarra.

Rand did manage to survive against the dark one but convinced Moraine to tell the others he’d died. According to showrunner Rafe Judkins, the second season will adapt books 2 and 3 The Great Hunt and The Dragon Reborn.

Well, the Wheel of Time seasons 1 and 2 were shot back-to-back. So, the good news is season 2 has already wrapped production. However, with the time it takes for post-production and visual effects it’s being said that we won’t be seeing season 2 until the end of this year or the beginning of 2023.

With that said we ourselves have been hearing that we’ll see season 2 in November of this year. Right, now on to season 3 of the Wheel of Time. So back in January, we dropped an exclusive revealing that amazon renewed Wheel of Time for season 3, and about a month later other outlets had picked up the same information and ran with it confirming our initial exclusive and more recently it was officially revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con by amazon studios that season three of the Wheel of Time is coming.

Despite mixed reviews of the Wheel of Time, we really enjoyed it and with the passion from Judkins, we’re especially looking forward to future episodes. However, if we had to make an educated guess, we’d say that season 3 would air somewhere around late 2023 or early 2024. We say this because we’re factoring in the time for pre-production, Production, and post-production, and since they’re already well underway in the pre-production phase for season three.
